Split and multi-split
Individual units per room (one outdoor + several indoor). Standard in flats and partial renovations, with refrigerant line routed along façade or wall.
Climate control resolves thermal comfort for the home: split or ducted air conditioning, heat pump for domestic hot water and underfloor heating. We work alongside the authorised fluorinated-gas installer for the equipment commissioning.
In the Costa del Sol, air conditioning is no longer optional from June to September, and the heat pump is gradually displacing traditional heating. Two different problems — cold and heat — now solved by increasingly integrated equipment.
The main decision is where to place the outdoor unit (façade, patio, roof), where to route the refrigerant lines and condensate drain, and which indoor units fit the existing layout best. For the gas charge and commissioning we work with installers holding the fluorinated-gas qualification (RITE and RD 115/2017), as the regulation requires that specific authorisation.
Modern climate control goes beyond the traditional wall split: an aerothermal heat pump produces domestic hot water and heating at high efficiency; ducted systems distribute cold and hot air evenly across the home. The choice depends on the type of property, intended use and available budget.
We install the most common climate systems in residential properties and coordinate the required building work.
Individual units per room (one outdoor + several indoor). Standard in flats and partial renovations, with refrigerant line routed along façade or wall.
Single unit per floor with ducts hidden in a plasterboard false ceiling. Even distribution, invisible finish and linear grilles.
Aerothermal equipment to produce domestic hot water and back up heating. An efficient alternative to the traditional gas boiler.
Hydraulic underfloor system with independent circuits per room and a general manifold. Compatible with heat pump.
Air renewal with enthalpy recovery in well-insulated homes and appropriate filters in areas with pollen or urban dust.
Per-room thermostats, app control and ducted zoning to operate only the spaces in use.
Zoned climate control lets temperature and schedules match the real use of each room, saving energy and reducing noise where it is not needed.
Quiet units with adaptable airflow, night-time scheduling and individual control.
Higher cooling capacity due to larger volume and occupancy; adjustable louvre for even reach.
Climate control complementary to the hood ventilation; specific equipment with grease filter when relevant.
Air treatment in dressing rooms and bathrooms with supply duct and return grille.
Specific solutions for floors more exposed to radiation or humidity by level.
Indoor units, ducts and grilles sit in the false ceiling, calibrated by thermal load per room. Only the diffusers remain visible when the project is handed over.
Climate control has specific technical and regulatory constraints to review before quoting.
Handling fluorinated gases requires professional authorisation. We coordinate the works with authorised installers; we do not perform that part without that authorisation.
Outdoor units on the façade usually require building management approval. In some municipalities and protected developments they are limited to internal patios.
Every indoor unit generates condensate in cooling mode. The drain network needs the right fall and to connect to a suitable outlet.
Heat pumps and ducted equipment need their own electrical circuit with the right protection, planned from the electrical installation stage.
Climate control is designed before being installed: correct sizing avoids oversized noisy equipment or undersized inefficient equipment.
Simplified thermal study per room considering orientation, surface area, insulation and expected occupancy.
Choice between split, multi-split, hidden ducts or aerothermal based on layout, surface area and budget.
Refrigerant line routing, condensate drains and control wiring to every indoor unit.
Gas charge where applicable, tightness test, airflow verification and system start-up.
Installation certificate, user manual and preventive maintenance plan delivered.
The outdoor unit is placed on vibration-damping brackets, with insulated copper piping and an unobstructed clearance for air flow. Correct siting is what keeps the system quiet and efficient.
Five decisions that drive equipment, installation and final comfort.
If opting for ducted systems, decide routes before closing the plaster, with supply- and return-grille orientation.
Confirm the panel can host the dedicated outdoor-unit circuit, with the correct breaker and free slot.
Direction and slope of the condensate pipe to stack or shaft — avoids drips and ceiling stains.
Internal patio, roof or façade with community approval; distance from the bedroom to minimise noise.
Individual thermostats, app control or home-automation integration — decided before pulling control wiring.
Climate control on the Costa del Sol combines long summers with heat peaks and high radiation, mild winters with cool nights inland and high relative humidity in coastal areas. Correct equipment sizing requires a load calculation per room taking into account orientation, surface area, insulation and expected occupancy. An oversized split cycles in short bursts, consumes more and makes more noise; an undersized one never reaches the set temperature.
In new builds or complete renovations we work with aerothermal units (air-to-water heat pump with outdoor unit and buffer tank) for heating, cooling and domestic hot water from a single machine, paired with reversible underfloor heating or low-temperature radiators. In partial renovations the usual approach is air-based: wall split, multi-split (one outdoor, several indoor) or hidden ducts in false ceiling with linear grilles. The choice depends on the allowable scope of works and the finish required.
